When the kids are at school we are available for term time hire.
2hr Hang Out Session
Hanging out is the aim of the games. We are a relaxed accessible venue, where everything is included. So, no extra charges for activities. There is truly something for everyone. Our tuck shop and snack bar which is reasonably priced. Home from home kinda vibe.
One hour Hang Out Walk-in session
1hr Hang out walk-in session £5 per child until the end of Jan 2025. Designed for 8-12yr olds and their adult. Other well behaved children welcome to book too.

Every Friday night
Normal 2hr hang out sessions available up to 18:00. Then 18:30 - 20:30 is Friday Family Fun games night. Board game extravaganza.

Afternoon Teas
Normal 2hr hang out sessions available all day. In addition, you can have afternoon tea. £19.99 pp inclused the 2hr hang out session plus afternoon tea. Make memories, spend some time together.
Birthday parties
We truly have something for everyone. Each child is unique so the The Hang Out Venue is perfect for celebrating birthday parties.
To ensure a truly personal birthday party , we only have one birthday booking per session.
You can book either:
1) full exclusive hire of the whole venue (25 children and their adult)
2) host a party from our cabin for up to 10 children. This is exclusive use of the cabin, with your very own birthday party host. All party guests have full access to the main room, and all activities.

Venue Hire
The Hang Out Venue is located in the heart of Southend. Directly opposite the main Sainsbury's, in what is becoming known as the restaurant quarter.
- 2 minute walk to the High street and Victoria shopping centre
- 5 mins walk to Victoria train and bus station, Beecroft art gallery, Planetarium and museums
When the kids are at school we are available for hire. Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00
The Hang Out venue is a relaxed, centrally located professional accessible venue, with capacity for up to fifty delegates (depending on table layout). Flip charts, white board, projector and access to facilities is included. Snack bar can be available if needed.
The Hang Out Venue provides a creative relaxed space for groups to meet. Optional refreshments, catering and space sizes , time slots and prices available up on request.
Food & drink
We have a snack bar and tuck shop. If want something more substantial no problemo! You can order Grumpy's for delivery at the Hang Out venue.
